How To Stay Motivated In Your Workouts

How many times have you started your fitness journey and end up loosing your motivation leading to you stopping working out? For most people starting is easy but after some few days or weeks motivation dies and they end up stopping. You are not alone. Here are some simple rules that you can follow to boost your motivation and stay motivated always;

SET A GOAl:

The goal you set should be simple, realistic and achievable. It’s okay to have long term goals but make sure that you have small and simple goals that you can win in like a week or a month. small goals makes you feel like you are getting closer to your big goal when you hit them. These small goals makes you see some changes that keeps you motivated to move on.

HAVE MOTIVATIONAL QOUTES AND VIDEOS:

This is because your environment can impact your mindset and your results in a great way. You can have these quotes on the walls of your room and in your phone. These messages fills your mind with positivity which leads to positive actions.

HAVE A SCHEDULE:

Put your workout in a calendar and or in a diary. Set a specific time to train and stick to it. This will help you since after practicing it for some time, this workout routine will turn to a habit.

HAVE A VARIETY OF EXERCISES:

This is so important since when you stick to one routine you will end up getting bored hence giving up. Having a variety of workouts makes you have more to choose from and makes it easier to challenge yourself hence making it more fun.

MAKE IT FUN:

Don’t restrict yourself to a boring routine. Choose some exercises that will motivate you when doing them. Its okay to break rules sometimes but dont overdo it. Sometime it’s okay to hangout with friends for dinner and so on but be careful.

SORROUND YOURSELF WITH FRIENDS WHO LIKE DOING WHAT YOU DO:

Make friendship with motivated people who are read  to support you and grow together. have friends who are ready to push you to do it when you feel tired or bored. Have some healthy competition as this will make you work harder.

STOP MAKING EXCUSSES:

There is NO time as the right time. You don’t have to be great to start but you have to start to be great. Stop making excusses that you don’t have this or that and instead work with what you have.

REWARD YOURSELF:

There are very many ways in which you can motivatre yourself. Sometimes you can sacrifice to go to other “greater” gym that you do not normally go to. Buy yourself good gym atires once in a while that makes you feel good in when working out. Reward yourself with some good drinks and meals sometimes. It’s okay to break some rules sometimes but make sure don’t overdo it. Follow these simple principles and watch yourself reach your goals. ALL THE BEST
