Machokos Governor Doctor Alfred Mutua has spoken about Deputy President’s vaccination terming it as selfish.

The second-in–command opted for the controversial Russian-made Sputnik V vaccine which is yet to be approved by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and is said to being sold for about 20,000 shillings.

Speaking on Day break on Citizen TV this morning, Mutua said that he was surprised that the Dp would go for the expensive vaccine and not the one being given to the common citizen and yet he says he’s a hustler like them. And in the process, challenging him on the many wheelbarrows the money could have bought

Mutua, who actually believe that he cannot work with Raila nor Ruto says that he has solutions for this country.

” I will be on the ballot box, Raila will be my competitor. I have economical solutions to change our country, we are tired of our young people being jobless, I know I can grow this economy & move it. I am not looking for pres. Uhuru’s endorsement.”

Netizens were not happy on his remarks about Ruto’s vaccination, here’s what some had to say.

@winniembithe9
Dr. Alfred Mutua, leave Ruto and concentrate on machakos level 5 hospital, the situation is too pathetic ; imagine a level 5 hospital with no gloves, X-Ray films and basically everything else to treat patients. WHAT A SHAME???

@toeyota_kneeson

I think the dp brought something clear here.. if he is able to avoid the vaccine.. why then does he need to take the one provided to ordinary kenyans .. by doing this he has saved one Kenyan who was to miss the vaccine.. mutua you cannot blind us by using immature sheng’ rubbish

@prekyjay
