Since the UDA party was launched, many people have linked Deputy President William Ruto to this party. Most of the UDA members like Kipchumba Murkomen, Caleb Kositany are close Ally to the deputy president and have severally confirmed publicly t that DP William Ruto will vie for Presidency in the 2022 general election using the UDA party. At that time, Ruto himself had not yet declared his membership to the party.
Just recently while in a political rally in West Pokot, DP William Ruto broke lose and made it clear that his 2022 preferred political party will be UDA. That came as the Jubilee party on the other side is in a dialogue with ODM over a possible coalition.
“Chama ya mahustlers ni UDA,” Dp Ruto declared.
Some few days after DP William Ruto’s confirmation to the UDA party, things are not looking so good. Maybe Ruto was running away from the Jubilee party to the UDA party because he thought he would be given a direct ticket in UDA but it seems he got it wrong.
That is because UDA secretary general Veronica left DP William Ruto on the crossroads after she delivered a heartbreaking message to him.
According to the Secretary General, DP William Ruto won’t be given a direct ticket by the party. Veronica insisted that just like other candidates, Ruto will have to pass through the primaries.
That is a big blow to DP William Ruto who seems like a person who doesn’t have a real home, or does he actually have any place to call home?
