Benjamin Ayimba, a former rugby player and Singapore 7s 2016 winning coach who also has sailed The Kenya7s through three Rugby World Cups is currently in critical condition. The 43 year old is also a director at Ayimba Rugby School and Infiniti EA Group.
Reports from the family says that Ayimba has been suffering from Cerebral Malaria after being diagnosed and he is currently on a critical condition. However, the legend needs special treatment which should take place at The Kenyatta National Hospital but this can only happen after settling a bill of 2 Million that accrued while receiving treatment at the Nairobi National Hospital.
Ayimba is currently admitted in HDU at a Nairobi hospital, and can hardly speak or recognize anyone for days now. The legend is said to have been ailing from this condition since January to date.
The family now seeks for well wishers to help them sort the bill. “We are appealing to all well wishers to help contribute towards getting him the best medical treatment and back on his feet again.”
Many fans and boards have come together to wish the legend a quick recovery and hoping he gets well soon.
